Our Delivery Policy

Thank you for visiting and shopping at Home Of Hydroponics. We believe that ordering online should be a simple and transparent process. We offer a range of shipping options to meet your needs and do not charge anything other than the courier costs. Your order will be packaged in the smallest packaging option possible to help save on waste and also reduce the cost of delivery. All our packaging is fully recyclable. Delivery Costs

We aim to offer the lowest cost delivery options we can. We offer both next day delivery* and standard delivery options. We currently use Royal Mail for all our deliveries. We don’t add a markup on the delivery prices, these are the current costs from the courier. Costs will be calculated in the checkout.

Some small and lightweight items will fit within an envelope whilst others will not and therefore have to be treated as a small parcel . For example, items such as our refill pouches and seed packets will fit in a large envelope where as bulkier items such as our measuring scoops will not. * see below for description of delivery times

Delivery Payment

Delivery costs will be calculated in the checkout and added to your order. Please ensure you check which delivery option is selected as there might be a preferred option available. Payment can be made by bank card or PayPal.

Delivery Times & Tracking

For our next day delivery service the delivery times are:

  • Royal Mail (First Class) / Tracked 24- Typically next working day after dispatch. Tracking is only available on parcels

  • Evri - Typically next working day after dispatch. Tracking is provided by Evri

For our standard delivery service the delivery times are:

  • Royal Mail (Second Class) / Tracked 48 - 2nd Class items typically arrive by the third working day after dispatch. Tracking is only available on parcels

  • Evri- Should arrive between 2 - 4 days after dispatch. Tracking is provided by Evri

Please note, with all delivery options these times cannot be absolutely guaranteed but most often than not arrive on time.

Orders Dispatch

If you place your order by 6pm then your order will typically be dispatched the next working day. You will receive an email from us once your order has been placed and also when your order has been processed for dispatch.

Delivery Locations

Home of Hydroponics currently only delivers to the UK. We plan to expand to other delivery locations in the future so check back with us soon or get in touch

Minimum Order

We currently operate a £2.50 minimum order.

Q&A

Q - What happens if i’m not in when my delivery arrives?
A - If the courier cannot post your item through a letter box, they will typically leave the items in a safe place.

Q - Can i reschedule my delivery?
A - If your items have tracking i.e. a parcel rather than a large letter then you will be able to use that information to change your delivery preferences. Enter your tracking information on the Royal Mail or Evri website.

Q - How quickly can i get my delivery
A - If you place your order by 6pm Monday - Friday then your order will be dispatched the next day. Next day delivery will then typically mean your order will arrive the next working day. Orders placed at the weekend will be dispatched on Monday.

Q - I’ve paid for my order but want to make some changes, can i do that?
A - If you need to alter your order, for example you forgot an item, ordered too many things or want to change delivery options then please contact us immediately. Please include your order details in the message and what the issue is. If we have yet to dispatch your order then we may be able to adjust your order or cancel it. Please note that we cannot guarantee to stop your order in time but we’ll try our best.

Q - There’s an error with my order, what should i do?
A - In the first instance, please contact us to inform us of the issue. We will correct any mistake as soon as possible.

Q - My Letter / Parcel is damaged, what should i do?
A - If you notice that the letter or parcel is damaged at the time of delivery. Please notify your courier. You do not have to accept the damaged parcel. If this is not possible then please report the damage to us through our contact page within 7 days of receiving the goods. Please take photos of the damaged packaging and damage to the items within. Please store the damaged items safely until a resolution is reached. We will ask you to send these photos to us so we can issue you a refund or dispatch a replacement.

Q - I’m not happy with my order, what should i do?
A - If you are not happy with your order then please contact us within 2 weeks. If the items are unopened and undamaged then we will happily accept the products back and offer you a refund of the product value. You will be responsible for the costs of returning the items to us and we are not able to refund the original delivery fee. For full details please see our Returns Policy.
