Day 16

Another day another big change. This is day 16 and the winter lettuce is really accelerating in growth.

The roots are now making their way out of the pot and into the tray to make the most of the nutrients available to them. In this setup we aren’t using any sort of aeration or pumping. The surface area of the water keeps it fairly aerated and changing the water every week to keep it fresh is all that’s needed.
