Winter Lettuce - Day 12

So we’re now on day twelve of testing our new winter lettuce seeds. (the latest addition to our shop). These have all germinated so well and are putting down lots of roots.

We're using as simple a grow system as possible to show how easy it can be. All we’re using is a tray to hold the nutrient (Hydrofeed Complete) and some mesh pots, to hold some perlite, which we germinated the seeds in. We planted one seed in the middle of the pot so it’ll have plenty of room to grow. For lighting we’re using an LED bulb about 30cm from the plant.
